September Butterfly Quilt
September Butterfly Quilt, ©Lisa Boyer, 2013
I was just sewing the binding onto this quilt when I happened to turn on the television--on the morning of September 11, 2001. Up until that day, I hadn't selected a name for this quilt. I decided to dedicate this quilt to all those souls who were set free that day. I finished by sewing a tiny American flag onto the back.
Blocks are 10-1/2" square finished. I love how this quilt looks made up in Asian fabrics. Gorgeous!
